Amani Farooque

Amani Farooque is a product manager for the Resident Experience initiative at the Office of Innovation. She is focused on improving how New Jersey residents learn about, apply for, and receive state-provided resources.

Prior to joining the Office, Amani worked for a federal contractor supporting a search platform that helps federal websites deliver information to the American public. She has also worked across healthcare, financial services, retail, and food service enterprise clients to improve their search presence externally and internally. She is energized by scaling teams to help deliver service and information in new and innovative ways.

Amani graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Systems Engineering, and enjoys applying a design-thinking and systems-level approach to complex government problems. Outside of work, you can find her testing out new recipes or eating her way across New Jersey and the tri-state region.
